Cyberpunk 2077

So I really, really wanted to give it a fair review and not jump on to the hate wagon, but man... Ok, so I don't have the best PC in the world, but I easily pass the minimum requirements for this game and I'm playing everything on low. I got about 11 hours in, 6 of which I can say is actual gameplay and not replaying missions, restarting or in any other way wasting time in the game wihout actually playing it. On day 1, I ended up having about 1h gameplay and never got past character creation and even when I did the game crashed at the first cutscene and I later figured out why. It went as a corpo and viewing myself in the mirror crashed the game. Ok, got around that and picked a different start and avoided mirrors. Well, now I'm at the part of the game after the heist and guess what? I NEED to look into a mirror. I've tried it at least 12 times and haven't been able to progress. I'm giving 2 stars because the world itself is gorgeous and I enjoyed those few minutes I had of emersion. But for me, the game is literally unplayable. Not even going to go into detail about bugs and glitches, though my favourite one is when you're sneaking and trying to move a body, placing it on the ground gently and for whatever reason it makes a big splash of blood on the floor and catapults the body into the air where it gets stuck lol

Can not really enjoy the story and gameplay due to the bugs. 90% of the bugs aren't game breaking but are very distracting. One example is at the beginning they showed before. The NPC (trying to keep spoiler free) in the first mission just teleports around. I kept loosing track of him and when try to kill boss, I was trying to shoot through open window and NPC warped in front of boss and killed him. Other things include items marked for pick up can not actually be picked up, textures don't load properly and some are just missing that cause invisible walls and roofs. I really want to enjoy this game but at its current state I can not.

FIrst of all thank you for all you have done and for bringing this complex world to life. Yes you delivered but not in all segments. I am dissaponted with the optimisation and game is a bit glichy for my taste. I know you will fix it but untill than one star. Also, you advertised that this game can be played with 5700XT at 1440p High or Ultra. No it cant, game is simply stuck at 40-50 fps no matter the settings and it even goes down to 30 from time to time. Dont get me wrong, i dont need 100fps to enjoy this but at least stable 60fps and that is not delivered. Tehnically speaking all of us who made PC for thisgame with that spec were misslead. Please first optimise the game for AMD users and thanfox other issues as it is almost unplayable for us.

I am not upset at the developers of the game; I am upset about how this game was marketed. Parts of the game like customizing your car and apartment were silently removed after being advertised. The character creation did not feel like an RPG game, I could only create default V but with different hair. The Techie skill tree was not implemented. There is no subway to travel anymore, just a fast travel with a loading screen. I also can't even get a haircut in the game. I am saddened that I cannot customize my character to the extent that I should be able to after creating it. I wish CDPR was more transparent with these silent changes. I guess that is what happens when corpos are the ones who really make the decisions. I thought I should mention that I've been following the game for a while, but not to the extent of being an absolute fanboy. I was excited to experience an RPG in a cyberpunk world, and I feel that I am unable to with the current state of the game.
