Cyberpunk 2077

Is this game absolutely perfect? Nope. Could this game do with some additional features? Absolutely? Is this still an amazing & engaging game? Most definitely. I'll get the "negative" stuff out of the way first: -I really had hoped that the intro story would be longer. It would have been great to spend more time in the Badlands before getting to Night City. -The AI is reasonably decent, but could definitely do with some improvement. -Some lifepath specific dialogue could do with more meaningful outcomes, IMHO. -We need more keybind options-especially the ability to toggle walking and running. Now for the good stuff: -I really LOVE the character creator. Whilst more choices would be awesome in later DLC, I definitely felt in full control of creating a truly unique character. -In addition, the RPG elements of the game are completely solid. I really get a truly unique feel from the character I have created, & feel you give me plenty of opportunities to make use of my skill set. -The Characters are amazing. The main characters are really cool to interact with, & their voice acting is wonderful. Even minor NPC's on the street have a certain uniqueness to them, which I love. -The environment. Night City is an amazing location, & so wonderfully realised, it is also immensely packed with stuff to do. I am still stuck in Watson, but I can't help but wander the streets wondering what will pop out at me. -The sound and the graphics are all amazing, as are the gameplay mechanics for Hacking, Gunplay, Melee & Stealth. Its clear a lot of love went into creating this game, in spite of the minor flaws on PC. -This game is truly addictive. I really find it difficult to pull myself away to do something else. Anyway, as a former CP2020 player, can I just say that this is a wonderfully realised recreation of Mike Pondsmith's world overall. Well done!

I love the game. It is certainly far from perfect but the hatred it has drawn up is only valid in terms of the console versions. If playing on a high end pc there are many aspects of this games graphics that are 2nd to none. The story was extremely engrossing to me, and I grew to genuinely care about he characters. A large portion of the audience just regurgitates youtubers points on why this game fails compared to GTA's open world etc but never awknowledge the many aspects that the game excels. It might not be game of the year in the state that it launched but anyone giving one star actually basing it on the gameplay either hates RPG's/ is playing on a console/ or is bias. There is no world where this game is a 1 or 2 star game on a high end PC. I could go on but the hate mob is listing any positive review as unhelpful so these are never seen by prospective customers unless they choose to sort reviews by positivity. Sad how people fail to think for themselves anymore.

GO BUY A CPU WITH A BUNCH OF CORES!!! Then GO BUY A GPU THAT SUPPORTS DLSS 2.0, THEN OVERCLOCK EVERYTHING TO DEATH ON CUSTOM WATER COOLING! I have a intel i9 7980XE (18) core (36) thread monster at 4.8Ghz, DDR4 4000 CL15-15-15-30 memory, and a RTX2080Ti at 2,160Mhz! Everything is water cooled and super fastttt! THIS GAME RUNS BUTTER SMOOTH!! I run 2560x1440P Ultra settings. RT Off/DLSS Off. And I easily average 78FPS. While never dipping below 62FPS no matter how intensive it becomes. I can run 2560X1440P Ultra RT on, DLSS on Auto and average about 69FPS everywhere! My 2080Ti is about 30% faster than a RTX3070. And only about 2% slower than a RTX3080. So please keep that in mind if your running a similar system. My GPU is heavily overclocked.. I can get about 17,500 in timespy graphics. So this game requires a beast!! It also needs a super CPU! My 7980XE handles it very well!! GO BUY THE GAME!!! I love this game!! I’ve got about 50 hours in so far, it runs butter smooth!! Excellent CPU usage, GPU usage never drops! It never skips it never pops, it never stutters!! What an amazing experience. I’m running a 2+ year old GPU. And a 3+ year old CPU . What more can you ask for?? I have the game maxed out on Ultra RT at 1440P with Quality DLSS getting 60FPS average!! $60 bucks well spent! I love the GOG Galaxy game application too.

Rough around the edges to be sure. I don't need to explain what this game is and is not because I'm sure you already know, but do know this. This game will win awards at the end of 2021. Lots of them. We're looking at another The Witcher 3 situation. Rough launch, epic legacy.

To be honest, the ungratefulness for games like that even being made, makes me sick. The immersion of the world is more than the usual mainstream-content-overkill since Skyrim. You have to discover it. Plus, it is all one, no separeted cineastic parts with no connection to each other. The world has a history you can discover everywhere, own style (and history of that style), factions making sense and characters behaving logically in the boundaries of their faction and background. In that point Cyberpunk is way more MORRORWIND than GTA. Anyone complaining about bugs and glitches in the PC version (!) just dont have anything to complain anymore i guess. There are no game-breaking bugs in that version. Remembering all the quests in Skyrim you could only finish with console commands? I had ONE little side mission at a building i could not complete and that's it. The glitches are nothing to what you experience in other games of that size. It is a finished game. Besides, everyone knows, you have to save often in RPGs, especially in open-world ones. Two things that mock me are: 1) missing sounds and 2) just things in detail they could have been done better with more time in the whole quality process. But to be honest, im glad they released it. At the end of the day you want to earn money with the game. Eventually, i cant stop admiring the whole artwork of it. Just LOOK at this world, really use your eyes. It is an amazing work. If you can't even notice and appreciate it, then go on playing arcade games. Sorry for saying that. Let's not forget about the policy on releasing the consoles version. But talking about PC, it is a great RPG with so many different pathways and conclusions you only experience after a long time playing it. I would give 4/5 points, because the games has so much potentiall you just want to have it better in many ways. But because of the unfair and highly irrational critics i decided to honor the attempts of RP and give 5. Thank you!
