Dissapointing, yet great
Initially, I thought about writing a review the size of an entire f-ing article, considering the controvery about this game, but I'll keep it as short as I can. Yes, the game has technical flaws. I won't mention them. No need. You can find enough about that everywhere. On my PC (ryze 7 1700 / 16 GB ram / gtx 1080) I encountered few bugs. What disappointed me the most, was the content that was "missing". It's what made me dislike the game. More than 80% of the doors in the city are closed. NPCs are empty. Customization is non existent. And I didn't feel like the world was as alive as in The Witcher 3. I'm not even gonna compare it to something like RDR2, because it's nowhere close to that. But tonight I finished the game, and I can only say this - despite the bad, I f*cking loved it. 120 hours, on the hardest difficulty, and I had a blast. I can't say it's better than TW3 or that it's even at the same level. TW3 is still my favorite game ever made so far. But, despite all the flaws this game has, I would be a hypocrite to say that it's a bad game. I had 120 of fun, with slight dissapointments because of the missing content. And the ending.. It left me empty. That chello is still playing in my head. I didn't feel like this since TW3. I know there are like 4 endings in total, and that, combined with different playstyles, adds enough replay value for me. So, as much hate as this game gets, it is, in my opinion, still a really good game. It has technical issues sometimes. And there's a lot missing from it. But what's in it, is still good. If you expect this to be the greatest game ever made - it isn't. Wait a year or two. Maybe it will be by then. But right now, it's just a good game, with an incredible story, and unbelievably realistic characters that you'll fall in love with. I hope to see CDPR stick with the game, and improve it, and bring it to the level everyone expected it to be, because this game deserves a lot more love. It can be so much more.

A fantastic RPG that continues to evolve
Cyberpunk 2077 had a rocky start; there's no doubt about it. I preordered it back in 2019, and I played it on release day. That being said, I have been pleasantly surprised by the updates over the past few months. The stability has improved tremendously, and I have not experienced any crashes since mid December. Anybody being deterred from playing because of the wild backlash regarding performance should know that it is miles better than it was. In terms of the game itself, its strengths reside in the gameplay, narrative, and depth. As an RPG, this game hits a lot of the right notes, including customization (cyberware, builds, etc.), extensive dialogue, and meaningful choices. Without spoiling anything, the story is very strong, and really pulls you in. It tangles with the topics of identity, relationships, sacrifice, and maturity. CDPR also creates characters that are memorable and relateable. The world of Cyberpunk is huge and does a good job curating to the cyberpunk genre. Think Neuromancer, Blade Runner, Dredd, and Akira. There is also a surprising amount of verticality to the game as well, whether it was intentional or not. Finally, the gameplay is essentially representative of a typical first person shooter. The gunplay is well done, with a lot of different types of weapons at your disposal. Dialogue also takes place in first person (with a few surprise exceptions!). The cyberdeck also allows you to hack terminals, equipment, and even enemies with the right perks. Despite its strengths, there are a few things that could use some improvement as well. - The vehicle system has little room for customization. Driving is still fun - A few parts of the story might feel a bit rushed, but it might just be me - Some perks are essentially useless and don't enhance gameplay - The game can get incredibly easy towards the end with a strong build Overall, I still enjoyed the hell out of this game, and I've played it through 3x. I highly recommend it to any RPG lover.

Janky but still great
This is the only CDPR RPG I have spent a large amount of time in. I don't blame the devs for the rushed development and I hope that they can fix the major issues plagueing the game. I personally hope that they can refine it to the CDPR pedigry that CDPR is known for. Some systems are confusing but I got the hang of it. But hey everyone's entitled to an opinion.

A pure Masterpiece
Just to note, I bought the Game after patch 1.2 came out. Yes there are bugs, and some people expectet a perfect Game, but such Games do not exist. This Game is a Masterpiece. Its very well done, amazing graphics and sound. The style the city is presented is just incredible. You just need to play it and not read or listen to the negative reviews. Yes, you need a decent PC to really enjoy it. But technically, there are very few games which offer more than this one. I don't know how they got these loading times. If you have a fast SSD, you basically instantly in after launching it. The gunplay is very well done, all the weapons are amazing, Borderlands style. You can have swords, knifes whatever you want. And there is a LOT of Gore. I love the Game and I would buy it again. For Console Owners, get an SSD for your console. Yes, CDPR f*** up, but with this storage system, there is not much they can do.
