Shining Gem with Flaws

For someone who is craving for another GTA5, 2077 won't suit your need. For someone who is looking for another Fallout title, this is not that type of RPG either. 2077 is more close to Mass Effect/Witcher series that the protagonist carries her/his own personality to go through the whole storyline and sometimes minor decisions may alter consequences in a way hard to expect, so the game is designed to be replayable to avail all story content. The diversity of the ending is truly meaningful, each one gets its own point to chime, yet the length of the story process might be disappointing comparing to TW3. Which is REALLY a shame, because most of quests with plot are amazing as hell. The inferior side of this game is that for a self-claimed open-world game, the environmental interaction is way below its pretty appearance. And piles of glitches are really a killer to the game experience.It's probably better to play 2077 a year after launch,but if you can bear all those problems, 2077 is still a must-play RPG in 2020.

Overhated not Overrated

Cyberpunk is an awesome Game. The Story ist consistently enthralling. The Protagonist is sympathic so you can feel into him whats pushing the immersion. The Graphics are the best i've ever seen (depends on your hardware od course). Gameplay mechanics are easy to learn but on higher difficulties its getting harder (what is good) and if you want to, you can spend hours without doing any quest just exploring the gigantic city and punshing some criminals (not even the witcher 3 had such an interactive map). I understand that people are angry because of the bad perfomance on consoles and nothing can put that into perspective because the game should have been released when the next gen consoles weren't released and we should criticise cdpr for that because they should have postponed the game into 2021 so no one would have complained about the last gen performance. Even if that would have given a shitstorm, the shitstorm now is much worse. But all of that is no reason for complaining about cyberpunk itself. The game is awesome. Even if it has some pretty hard bugs its still a very good game that you can spend hours on while getting sucked into the fascinating plot.

Excellent story with great gameplay

To start off I will say GoG need to have half ratings as I would give the game 4.5 stars or 9 out of 10. After playing over 150 hours of this game I can say the game play is really enjoyable allowing you to approach scenarios in different ways with only a small handful of missions giving optional objectives with small bonuses to play a certain way (mostly stealth). In those missions you can ignore those optional requirements and still complete the mission without issue although not getting full rewards this will not impact your ability to complete everything. The story is well done and keeps you engaged with a few twists depending on the ending you choose that really make you feel for some characters that you would otherwise think irredeemable. I deliberately picked the ending I was least interested in first and did not expect the outcome I got. I went in expecting it to be the worst ending siding with the corporation but what happened was a gut punch I didn't expect and something I feel most people will miss. I think the game does need to be docked 10% of the full score due to some features that are missing and I hope these get patched in as time goes on I am currently running on 5 year old hardware (was high end parts when built) and have had minimal bugs (once getting catapulted off my bike, once flying away from a window when trying to climb in and one quest where I had to reload and redo it as I was unable to retrieve my weapons after completing the objective) I am able to run the game on ultra with no noticeable frame drop from medium settings which the game defaulted to (although my computer does run 5 degrees Celsius hotter when I set it to ultra). I would definitely recommend trying the game just be aware you will need a decent rig to run it smoothly but it doesn't need to be a top of the line system like some would suggest.

Why would anyone want to play this game? It is bad. Go ahead and buy it and see for yourself, the good reviews will mislead you.
