First off I love the game the story is good and the game looks good however the game feels rushed the story seems like it was meant for a linear game. I think that they wanted to put more story in the game but had to cut it the game was delayed three or four times and there are so many bugs. I hope that they will add more story back into the base game and make the dialog choices matter the bugs on pc aren't game breaking or at least not for me so far. All of you that own it please share your opinion to CDPR so many of us bought the game they have the money to add more story back in and fix the bugs.
Good thing I did not buy it. After watching a couple of playthroughs, worst things were confirmed.
- A horde of gamebreaking bugs
- Completely linear scenario
- Rampant hardware and software incompatibility issues
- Play with console controller or suffer
And the last but not the least - crowd of bots with 1 day old accounts giving 5 star rating here.
Well, this is a great Early Access title, very polished for early access and I hope that we do not need to wait till 2077 for the full version to come out.
The game is playable, for sure, but it's not as enjoyable as you would expect it to be base don the all the hype and dev promises.
GOTY edition will probaby fix it, but till then, you are not losing out if you place this one on hold.
One Grumpy Russion Score - 6/10 (at this stage) - this game has an immense potential, just like USSR, but lets hope it does not end up just like USSR

Wanted to wait to write a review for the game until I had some play time and now that I do I can say from my persepective the game is in need of a lot of polish, just like the witcher 3 when it first launched but it plays and if you didn't buy into the hype and kept your expecations in check you will probably be happy. The game plays a lot like Deus Ex HR and MKD, though some systems like the crafting are expanded upon while systems like stealth have been nerfed(the stealth system does need work as well as a better expalnation during the tutorial), gun play is largely the same but with an expanded arsenal.
Now for the bad, as of writing this the keybindings still can't be changed, which is irritating for me but for others can make the game almost unplayable, there are still a great many bugs, though for me, I have yet to encounter a game breaking bug, just Misty's textures not loading in properly, NPCs walking in mid-air, and the most annoying not being able to loot somethings(though that is a rare bug). I was able to fix the bugs with a close and relaunch, though that shouldn't be necessary. I would have hoped the game would be in a better state after 2 delays(unless I'm forgetting another) and that many of the bugs would have been squashed, that being said, it is still one of the best major studio releases of the year.
For those who have actually played the TTRPG, this is as close to bringing that game to life as I think any studio could ever hope to get with current technology, the damage seems to be based largely on dice rolls. Though the one thing missing, or atleast I haven't found it yet, losing humanity when adding cybernetics.
All in all the game is fun but is in desperate need of polish and bug squashing to reach it's full potential.
I put 20 hours into the game so far and I have to say I love it, I have pre ordered it months ago and I watched few reviews before started playing and when I heard about the bug I was worried but I did not encounter that many of them my self so the day 0 and day 1 patch must of helped. I see a lot of people complain about the mouse and keyboard kontrolls but honestly I dont know why? I fell like the game plays really well and the shooting is SURPRISINGLY well done, I'm a fan of Far Cry games and the I kind of fell like I'm playing a FC game in a big city. The game looks quite good BUT I expected it to look much better, I have a PC with a RTX3080, 32GB od Ram and a overclocked Ryzen 7 2700X and after I crank everything to max with Ray Tracing enabled I have to use DLSS to get an average of around 60fps at 1440!! So I feel like CDPR definitely dropped the ball there. The story so far is great but lets see how it develops. There is a lot to do in the world but I feel like CDPR could learn a little from Rockstar games in that department, like the Police for example is rather weak. I think if you worry about buying this game right now because of bugs wait till the end of January and then pick it up. I have been playing on version 1.03 and 1.04 without many problems so in 2 months time this game should be in an even better state that it already is
