Great game with some issues

Overall I loved this game and it's one of the very few I have decided to 100% complete. This is after 20+ years of PC gaming so that alone should give you an idea of how much I'm enjoying it. Yes there are bugs, some of which are game breaking. However, I've never had any bug halt my progress and a reload from the previous save usually fixes everything. The bugs are pretty standard for an open world RPG, and I've seen lots of similar issues with the Assassin's Creed series or anything from Bethesda. Really good fun if you enjoy RPG-lite or story driven action games. I'd not consider it a full-fat RPG due to your choices having little impact on the world, but the storytelling and characters in the main quest and major side quests are excellent and you really end up caring for some of them. Also it's an extremely pretty game and sets a new graphical standard for PC gaming. I have a 1080Ti and i7 9700k and it runs very well and looks great on a mix of high/medium settings at 3440*1440. Really looking forward to the DLCs!

It works really well on the ps5. The runs well except when a error pops up every once in a while but other that that it an amazing game!

Falling short of legendary, still great

.....if you have the hardware to do it. Encountered bugs and glitches, sometimes needing to reload from last save. However, the story is great and gets better the more side missions you play, they are the meat of this game. The potential in this game is huge and that makes it frustrating when you play. There were obvious oversights or maybe cuts in terms of customization and features. The AI is atrocious but hopefully they fix it. Still a blast to play. Leaping around a room with mantis blades lunging and one shotting everything after you breached their security and short circuited a few enemies, throwing a grenade or two just for the explosion. Its hard not to like

Amazing

This game completely liveed up to my expectations. The story and characters are breathtaking and believable. The gameplay and combat is dynamic and really fun to master.

Hopeful for the future

TL:DR - If you are a fan of this genre and are the kind of player who can enjoy games like Fallout:New Vegas despite its issues, then I highly recommend this game. If not, and you are looking for a 100% finished product, give this game some time. Let CDPR iron out the kinks. I've just finished my first playthrough after 84 hours. I didn't 100% the game but I did every side quest I found. Nothing I'm gonna put in this review will be revolutionary but I wanted to share them for others. For reference, I'm on a mid-tier PC, above recommended hardware but not by much. The game definitely has a lot of good features, the main story, quests, NPCs, combat and the world as a whole felt excellent. None are perfect 10/10s but still all very solid. However, to no one's surprise, there is absolutely room for improvement. The two biggest issues I had were framerate optimization (despite being above recommended specs (I tended to average 40fps on low-medium graphics settings) and driving on mouse and keyboard is attrocious (I know its better on controller but I don't want to be swapping between the two every 5 minutes. These are both issues I feel can be improved over time and feel optimistic they will be. There are also some smaller issues which I share with most people. Things like looting not picking up the object I'm staring at, dialogue bugs, animations not working correctly, cars spawning and breaking/getting stuck. Again, I am hopeful these can be ironed out in time. In essence, I agree for the most part with CohhCarnage (our beloved Prophet Garry) that the game feels as though it got about 80% finished before the developers were told to stop work on new features and just finish the game. The ball is in your court now CDPR, I hope you can realise the dream of this game that is so clearly there
