What a disappointment
Cyberpunk 2077 could have become Altered Carbon season 1 but turned into season 2.

One of best game ever
Ok so... I can understand hate for versions on PS4 and XBOne but... On PC it works almost perfect! There are few glitches, lake floting cigaret or datapad, missng objects or referes to you as she when you are men body type but it is VERY small detailes. But... Story! Story is so much complex and meanigfull that I never face beafore. Realy! it make you think! and this is core of good game. Not graphic(wich on PC is amaizing) not gamaplay(which on PC is OK) but the story!

Not the promised revolution. Uncooked.
Is it the gaming revolution we where promised? No. Is it a good game? Yes. But also No. The cyberpunk universe has lots of potential for interesting translations into gaming, but this title feels half cooked. The main story is drowned in a see of openworld sidequests, icons and secondary fluff. It is visually the most stunning example of what current graphics can do on PC, but it is also mixed with the most broken aritficial intelligence of enemies and npc. The cinematics are good but still behind even those of the original Mass Effect. The most memorable moments dont come from the main story but from sidequests. The core loop of the game is going from one main quest to the other, while doing some sidequest to grind the cash needed for the very expensive gear and all that while driving for the most part. The issues start here: the driving is below average, even worse then GTAV and that's an achievement on his own. The combat with a controller, even with snap-targeting is clunky. The economy is unbalanced overall with excessive prices even for mid-tier level items, which causes the player to ignore shops and loot everything, triggering the next issue: unsatisfactory loot. Character progress is boring with perks giving "10% more damage on torso shots". Player starts out with a small apartment, gets a few smaller apartments later, but no garage or car personalisation. Gear wise you have the choices between high level stats or looking like a colorblind anti-fashion snob. The most annoying aspects are the user interface, especially the crafting section. The rest of the UI is bad in terms of usability with popup windows full of small unreadable text. No option for changing the HUD color from the default distracting red. Health bar placed in the top left corner forces the palyer to constantly switch sights from the center of the screen, where the attention is required, to the borders and back, which will increase the sense of frustration.

Sorry, it IS awesome
Dear fellow players, some points I have to mention after quite some hours: Yes, it has its bugs and glitches but I am totally hooked by the story and the details CD Projekt put into this game. There is just so much to explore it is mindboggling. And the main quest plus the side quests combined are worth every penny. The story branches that are available... man.. for example with River, the former NCDP member, where you try to safe his family, or Pan Am, where you steal a train and sit around a campfire to elaborate on the meaning of life... and so on... and many other of the stories that unfold beside the main story line, are very similar to the best side quests of Witcher 3 (which I played 200 hours +). I just don't get how you can not just stare in awe at this piece of art even with all of its problems. It is a marvellous achievement put together here. And roaming around this vast city is just super immersive. I am confident that with every patch it gets closer and closer to another milestone of video gaming. Yes, it feels old school and you shouldn't expect a revolution in game mechanics. Everything has been there before but the mix of it all is just marvellous fun for hours and hours. Anyhow, too much complaining all around from people who have no idea how hard it is to put a meaningful, immersive, believable virtual world together. Rather complain about the F key that should be re-bindable to the G key and giving it then a 1 star rating. In my mind, this must come from a corner where you are already over saturated with THE WORLD OWES ME SOMETHING BECAUSE IT PROMISED IT WOULD so pretty please, with sugar on top, go fuck yourself. Be kind, and acknowledge the work that has been put in here. I really really really like it so far. Thank you for this experience. Looking forward to more....
