Great! But needs work.

Obiously a great game and im loving it so far, but the optimisation seems like it needs a bit of work. I have a STRIX GTX 1080 + an i7-4790k with the game running on an 860 Evo SSD, so I doubt its a hardware issue, but I have to keep everything on low to make it somewhat playabale without noticing terrible framerate. I can see how much work has been put into this game and how great it is. Hoping the support team will optimise better in close future updates. Apart from that, occasional small glitches, nothing to be picky about. 6 hours into the game and so far its blown my mind.. Craving a game like this for a while. Hopefully problems get resolved soon so I can rate it 5 Stars!

Great game but needs optimization

I was happy when I read the specifications of the game, my pc can run it, I said ... but the reality is different. According to CDPR I should run it at 1080p with high settings, but for my surprise, I have to play it with low settings. I am disappointed, much hype for so many years, for this. The game is great, don't get me wrong, but it still needs a lot of work. I still remember those CDPR words: "...when it's ready", well, the game was not ready...

Nice story affected by minor glitches/AI

After 10h of gameplay on decent rig X3900/64G/2070S/PCIe 4.0 m2 SSD: 1, Game runs fine on 2k res with most of settings set to high/ultra - few moments when fps droped was around mirrors 2. Minor bugs ( no gamebreaking ) - visual - some items stay in air (like npc was using phone and it left in air, Jackie is eating noddles and chopsticks fly in the air, or during corpo start Jackie flashes few times in T-shape pose ) - some dialogues look like moved by 1 step in the future ( start of corpo path ) - cars on speedway(?) sometimes stop like there were traffic lights with no reason on all lanes - happens sometimes after reload save some tooltips/hints stay up - once after reloading from save quest stuck on talk with XXX npc and had to reload again 3. AI of enemies is pretty low on hard, they just spam bullets in wall behind you hide over and over 4, Hacking is pretty fun. 5. Story is awesome, you start game and after "5 minutes" you check clock and it's 5h later 6. Night City looks awesome CP2077 still needs some polish to be 5/5 game

Needs polish

I have played for almost eight hours now, I have had lots of fun. Dont feel like I know enough about the systems to comment on them too much. Fun but there is some mechanical polish needed. On top of that, the preformance needs polish. My Pc falls into the minimum requirements but I know but I have gotten 10fps at worst driving around, averages at around 20-30 normally. All the settings are at the lowest and my render scale is at 85 but I tweek it here and there. I know my PC is slow but it was advertised that I should be able to play at 1080p 60fps with my set up. Bugs, oh ya, we got em. The ones that I have ran into were quirky. One bug that affected gameplay for me was when I was only level 3 killing enemies that were dropping level 9 loot (so I assume they were level 9 idk they were tough at my level), after throwing a grenade that caused them to fall over sometimes they would not get back up and be stuck. However a more serious problem that a friend encounterd was that their game would crash at cutsenes or braindance segments, seemingly due to their CPU not supporting AVX while being above the advertised requirements. A "patch" for this found on nexus mods (called 'avx check fix' Incase anyone is looking for it) seems to have solved the problem for now. Hope to see more work go into this game. My expirence has been hindered with the state that it is in now and/or I have not expirenced a lot so I cant really judge the quality of the systems overal but they seem promising. Dont expect anything revolutionary, just some good writing and moments that will make you laugh If you slow down.

ehhhh needs work

My headline would be: The game has poop in its pants, but they're nice pants. I feel like partaking in just holding out until the game is more polished, clearly it needs more work done to it, if we look away from the bad performances and heaps of bugs then we have an enjoyable game but to me its being overshadowed by its issues, until then i would recommend people wait before buying, i say this as someone who pre-orders based on goodwill and reputation.
