Cyberpunk 2077

Well done game. I started playing a month after it's release given the news of how buggy it was supposed to be. I'm starting it via steam so I can use my steam controller to play, which seams ot prevent GOG from tracking my hours, but I've got around 40 or so (steam also doesn't track non-steam games hours so it's my estimation). It's been mostly bug free for me; this is apparently not the case for most people. I guess I'm lucky. I'm enjoying the game. I like the way hacking is implemented and am glad they went all in on the high action fps gameplay. This follows the usual looter shooter format that's in a million games right now. I get a little tired of the constant sorting and replacing of guns with new copies of the same gun that are slightly better, and would prefer crafting that would involve upgrading your weapons with actual add-ons (scopes and whatnot) rather than just hammering some steel onto to it to make it better; but this is par for the course. The world map is a bit forgettable. There aren't really many distinct parts of the city. It's pretty much the same everywhere, and I'm never awed by what I'm seeing by any means. But it's worth the price, although I'd recommend getting it on sale, there's a lot to do and it's fun.

At this point in time I didn't find serious glitches or bugs that could kill the experience. If you want to have a GTA,Skyrim,Fallout experience this is not your game. The game tells you one story with many side quests, the story is good and the characters you meet in the game are amazing. The main problem I see is that most people (including me) have a wrong idea about the game, but once I realized that this game is more like Dragon Age with a big world then I finally was able to enjoy the game.

Lower your expectation guys. Dont shoot yourself in the face (by following hype train) . Just enjoy a great single-player experience.

I preordered the game and bought it at full price. Played a few hours in Version 1.0, but gave up in the terrible state with all the bugs, missing features and clunky controls. A few months later i tryed Version 1.3, but not a lot has changed and had no fun at all. I was looking forward to the 1.5/next gen update. Since the last weeks i try to get to Version 1.5 and download a few files every evening (bad internet connection) - offline files without gog galaxy. But with every new hotfix the gog team switches off ALL the basic installation files to another version instead of just adding the hotfixes separatly to the download directory. Summing up: I downloaded over 150 gbs now in three diffrent versions/hotfixes and am still not able to complete the game files. I'm done with it now and wont buy any games from gog or cd projekt. I was a big fan of the company, the gog service and especially the witcher series since over 10 years. I defended the game / company in every discussion, even after the bad start of cyberpunk, but now im giving up and switch to steam or other gaming plattforms.
