Very buggy release. hard to play. glitches everywhere. Unable to keybind half of the in game commands. overall very dissapointed release. i have confidence these issues will be patched out, but as it stands. I can't reccomend this game to anyone until then.
My first impressions:
With a i5-6600, 16GB of RAM and an RX 5600 XT, no more crashes after updating the GPU drivers and verifying the game cache (at least for now).
- The game needs a better FOV Slider, 100 Max is too little, 120 is nice, up to 130 is ideal.
- Sensitivity slider needs to support decimal values, 2 is too low, 3 is too high...
- Give an option to get rid of Mouse Acceleration, specially in third person.
- Portuguese Subtitles does not match up with the English Dub, rather it is a transcript of the Brazilian Dub. Ultimately I decided to play the game in English instead because of this.
- Some of the control choices are questionable, double tap for Dash is annoying, specially for keyboard where you need to make micro-adjustments to your movement by tapping the movement keys, this results in a lot of accidental dashes, even in Stealth, it's a recipe for disaster really. Give us a dedicated Dash key (Or put it in the Sprint Key, like Shadow Warrior does).
- The game is quite buggy, its not uncommon to find objects that you can't pick up, Facial animations breaking, T-posing NPCs, NPCs clipping through walls, vehicles exploding out of nowhere...
Lots to explore! So far it looks like a worthy successor to Deus Ex.
Performance-wise i'm running it on a Ryzen 3700x with a gtx-1070 (2016), on high i get around 40fps. This is not a FPS so it's not a real problem for me, no crashes so far!
The world is alive and the game is sci-fi witcher. Needs some polish, but not as much as what people led me to believe. A great game and with the right support it'll become one of the greats just like Witcher 3.
I was so looking forward to this game but it is unplayable on my GTX 1070 / i7 / 16GB laptop. I'm barely breaching 30 fps on the lowest graphics setting. It dips below 20 fps in busy scenes. Pre-ordered the game a year and half ago, which was an unfortunate mistake in retrospect. I guess sometimes you have to learn the hard way, so won't be doing that ever again! And definitely not from CDPR, releasing something in this state is borderline unethical.
