Cyberpunk 2077 - Piggyback Interactive Map

Look, I've genuinely enjoyed Cyberpunk since launch, and I've defended it probably a bit more than it deserves, but this... $5 for something that the fanbase could readily do and probably already has? Who at CDPR thought that this blatant attempt at a cashgrab would be a remotely good idea in the wake of the disaster that was the launch of the game?

At first, I thought: "Cool an interactive map, why haven't I read anything about this earlier?" Then I read this: "Note that the interactive map is available only through an external website, so an internet connection is necessary in order to access it." You've got to be Fckuin' kidding me! Was in my cart before I scrolled down to that bit; no, just no!

I don't have the PC version nor this DLC. But I'm just puzzled by this. It's an interactive map for $5, which okay fine I guess even though some of the features like reading notes and leaving notes finding hidden items etc are included in other games like Dark Souls or games that allow you to find the hidden goods as an upgrade through gameplay and don't require any purchase, another issue I have is why is it requiring an external website to even use this?. The game is in serious need of a revamp not a 4.99 interactive map for a website that isn't in in game. The fact that this is DRM really does genuinely go against the whole reason I even love GOG. If DRM content will be the norm then sorry but I'll be looking elsewhere

Don't buy this, if you care anything for game development. This is not how to support appropriate behavior and customer relations with the development of CP2077. This map is just a slick marketing move to fill in the gaping holes of potential the board of directors ruined here. And now what are they doing...charging us for a...map?

As of 2.0 (Phantom Liberty DLC) the map is largely out of date, and not likely to be updated. It's still somewhat useful, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'll change this if they do end up updating it.
