Description
Strange things are happening at Great Britain’s museum of natural history in 1890. A gang of ruthless thugs has broken into the establishment, the Eye of Isis Egyptian statue has been stolen, and a mysterious fog has overtaken a number of areas of the museum killing and transforming all it comes into contact with.

In this survival horror game you will be playing as museum curator/archeologist Victoria Sutton and her childhood friend Darien Dane, you’ll have to fight the various beings and entities created by this fog. You'll spend considerable time in the museum, take a steam train to the coast and travel the seas in a huge cargo ship before finally entering the pyramid tomb where you must find and destroy the source of this ancient evil.

Awesome irony

I pitched this one a while ago while on the stream team, and many others in the forums pitched this. It is awesome to see it finally hit the platform! It is a awesome Alone in the dark like (if you need a comparison) meets Resident Evil, set in 1890. It has some light jank, and the usual issue here and there but otherwise a absolute gem of a game. Plus for 53 cents, why not!

100% Worth buying

Good game. Worth playing if you like a combination of Tomb Raider, Resident Evil though not as good as either. I kid you not it is worth playing. I did a playthrough of the first few parts (4) of it and while I had to stop for other reasons, I enjoyed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2gcXXIc3is

Awesome game!

This game was so good! Gameplay wise I feel that it is similiar to early Tomb raider/Resident evil games. I didn't encounter any bugs during my whole playthrough but it was a bit annoying that I had to remap the controls everytime I start up the game. I was a big fan of the Mummy movie series so I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of this game and its adventure/action/horror elements. You take turns controlling the two main characters so you'd need to occasionally manage their limited inventory space as well (kinda like RE0). Worth it for the price.

Interesting but shallow game

I saw this game was on sale for less than a dollar so I figured, hey why not? Well, it turned out to be worth those 59 cents. Curse: The Eye of Isis is a rip off of old Silent Hill and Resident Evil games, and it lets you know immediately. At face value I wouldn't bother with such a game but turned out to be fairly fun for what it is. If you played SH and RE then you know what to expect gameplay wise: inventory management, puzzles, simple combat, backtracking, cheesy story, etc. There really isn't anything special to say about it: it's just a heavily discounted and shallow SH/RE game. However, the controls in this game are atrocious. Movement is limited to left/right/up/down arrows and there is no WASD mapping. I beat this game with a controller.

Lacking but still worth a buy.

The game starts off decent making the atmosphere feel creepy but then when you find out the actual mechanics of the game anything that was supposed to be scary kind of just disappears when you find out your the actual one that should be feared in the game as you destroy everthing in your path. I would still say its worth a play through however.
