Cuphead

Difficult game; hard challenges, easy deaths, weak plot, weak story, overall a junk heap of a game not worth 2 cents worth.

This is a fantastic, beautiful game that everyone with even a passing interest in shoot-em-ups or golden age cartoons should buy. It's hard but fair and great for co-op, though take note that it's local only. It took me about six hours to beat the normal difficulty but I'm already going back through again on expert. This is the kind of game you can come back to over and over whenever you're in the mood for some arcade action.

Cuphead is charming, with great graphics, sound and music. The controls aren't half bad either, but they are hampered somewhat by the very spotty support for gamepads. It supports the xbox controller, but the face buttons, not to mention the nearly useless d-pad, are ill-suited to this type of game. I wish I could use a better controller, but unfortunately not even with joy2key could I get it to work. Unfortunately, this seems to be a trend, as River City Ransom Underground and Ori both have this same problem (though for Ori you can at least fix it with a lot of fiddling). If you're happy using an xbox controller, that's great, but I have to take points off for this.

Excelent game, fair price and quite adictive. Is dificult to but not extreme.

Wow! This game is so excellent. Game play is amazing and the graphics are so creative and well thought out. Add to this an awesome soundtrack and you have a cornerstone of side view scroller games. Arcade games are SUPER hot right now and if that's your bag then you will not be disappointed with this title!
