Cuphead

This game is absolutely amazing and the art style is awesome! It poses as a nice challenge and can be a little difficult but it makes it all the more satisfying when you beat a boss or complete a run & gun.

I'm about 3 quarters through the game. It delivers on it's art promise. The gameplay is good. For it's price it's a must buy.

Game of The year!!!

I have only played this for a few minutes but I can say this: The game concept itself is lots of fun specially for a 2D game, it stands out as different within the animated gaming genre in that it evoques a retro concept which in turn favors them with authenticity due to the characters being memorable and far from plane or easily forgetable (as for other run and guns). Its bold touch has to do with how it manages to bring back the nostalgia about 1940s cartoons, something the ever growing demand for more contemporary graphics based AAA games has undervalued. The only aspects that I struggle with is the OVER simplification of some gameplay dynamics that even though one can say have become the already too familiar and fixed standard of modern games are also the pillars of basic functionality for a more cohesive freedom within the playing rounds. With the previous I am specifically referring to control options and actions such as the ability to double jump, to recover life gathering some sporadically appearing items, to SEE clearly how much life you've got left, for the coins and other points/assets to be saved in status and XP bars above. I don't expect this to be a hitman style "grab wathever" type of game since its nature is to be linear, but it would be cool to at least have more powers and/or attacks than the low range "pew pew" shooting which becomes progressively mundane.

One of the best games you'll ever play.
