Cultist Simulator: The Exile

This might as well be a new game built on the same engine. It gives you the "Edge Ascension", as well as the "Pentiment Ascension" (Secret Histories). You will be faced with many of the same challenges (and frustrations) as when first starting Cultist Simulator. There will be a lot of trial and error. "Bad Luck" will kill you until you finally figure out how to mitigate it. You will need to read everything, and even then will still find yourself lost and confused. If you enjoyed that in the first game (or worked through it and loved the rest), I'd highly recommend "The Exile". Some key differences include: -You are a specific character, with a specific history. -You are always on a "time limit", partially determined by RNG. -You cannot amass resources. -The table backdrop is a useful map -It's much faster paced and intensive. -Dread/Fascination will not kill you. -Ligeians can kill you. -If ill-prepared, you rarely get a second chance.

It is written that "The Mansus has no wall", but I cannot read in another History. I only see a wall, in front of a Stair of Edges, a wall made of doors. I knock, but I don't know Knock, so the doors will never open or die. I wait and the door vomits, sometime useful things but mostly, I leave it on the ground. And a guardian comes, slashes my hand, as a punishment for knocking, and shoves me to the next door. And on the next door, the sign is not the same, but when you knock, your knuckels smell similar. And the guardian always comes. I tried to hide from him, I brided him, I fought him. I even stood still, never knocking. He was there to shove me. To the next door. Until the last door. The wall continued, but there is the last possible door. It finally spoke: "You stand here because you failed all doors, I am the only door that will never open to you. Now, at the end of your journey, you will disappear, or your Enemy will find you, or you may even struggle and win. But that will be my choice."
