Cultist Simulator

I love the writing and its really impressive how much atmosphere is conveyed only through the description of cards on a table.

It is not a simple or easy game, but it is worth dying with your character three to five times before you get the hang of it. The writing is superb, the mechanics are very interesting, the lore engaging, and it is weirdly immersive (and I don't like card games at all). I recommend for any occult, puzzle, lovecraftian, poetry, strategy and simulator loving gamer out there. I also recommend looking for guides when you really feel stuck, most questions can be found without spoilers, and it's better that than spoiling your enjoyment.

Great game that manages to suck you into a the world. Every time I sit down and play I loose hours without noticing.

In Cultist Simulator, you'll always start off as a boring average Joe just going about his daily life until you stumbles accidentally (or not) on a secret that will leave you craving for more. The mundane tidings of life will no longer be enough, and you will start digging deeper and deeper to look at what's hiding under the skin of the world as you know it. Hands down one of the most fun and intriguing narrative games I have ever played. It's engaging, beautifully written, and the way it handles the whole cult building and search for secrets is perfect. Can't wait for more content to drop! Oh and you will obviously get stuck from time to time, but I highly recommend NOT looking through guide, as trying to solve everything yourself is part of the fun!
