The sharp images and first-person shooter action from the original Crysis emerge in an exciting new form with the new Crysis Warhead expansion for your PC.
You play Sergeant “Psycho” Sykes, a supporting player in the first Crysis, who now takes center stage. Investigating a North Korean island with your team, you encounter a horrifying alien force. Strap on the game’s famous Nanosuit and face down attacks from any direction. Use the cloak setting to slip past your enemies or jump right into the center of combat to crush the threat directly.
The Crysis Warhead storyline features a fresh take on the story of the original Crysis, delivering all of the excitement and energy that you've come to expect. Thrilling combat scenes put you in the middle of the mayhem. Experience improved vehicle handling as you take control of tanks, helicopters, and more. New weapons inflict enhanced damage on your enemies, while multiplayer modes let you team up with your friends.
Return to the island and face your fears with the Crysis Warhead download.
Crysis Warhead is a standalone release and does not require ownership of Crysis to play.

I got this game on Origin and never got to really play it because of the drm not working. This version worked perfectly. I did have a issue where I shot chickens but it was fixed when I reinstalled
Legal gibberish aside, this game feels more like a tech demo than anything else. It was my first Crysis experience and I went in full of hope and, about as quickly, went out.
I have finished the entire game in 4 hours and to this day it remains the only game which i start completely new and end in the same day.
It's decent, but much to short There's way better stuff out there for much cheaper prices. If anyone played any Crysis game ever, you know exactly what to expect. If not:
You're a super soldier that gets to play with a suit having all sorts of funky gadgets in an open world environment that allows you either stealth or assault; but again, super soldier, so stealth is more for the hardcore fanbase. Gunplay is decent, AI is decent. Everything seems to swirl towards the singular monotony of mediocrity. Really, if it wasn't for the graphics, we probably would've never had a Crysis 2 or 3.
BTW, the graphics are incredible, but you can check them out in the first game since they literally run on the exact same engine.
I might be unpopular in saying so, but I liked Crysis Warhead better than the first Crysis. I don't like open world games and vast stretches of terrain, and I felt like most of the original game was spent walking/running to the next place for a quick shootout before hitting the high road again for another marathon. I actually cheated and gave myself infinite sprint, because it was so tedious to walk everywhere, and that honestly helped a lot. Granted, there's still a lot of walking in Crysis Warhead, but Warhead adds what was missing in the first game: more gun fights.
I don't care about story in a game; I value gameplay over the story, and I felt like Warhead was less story and more gameplay than the first game. The gameplay in Crysis is fun and I thought this was a good shooter, but it loses 1 star for just not being as compelling of a shooter as I like.
It frequently goes on sale and I think it's worth buying at the discounted price. I enjoyed it enough that I would recommend it, but not enough that it earns any awards in my books.
It's more Crysis, with some quality of life enhancments, like automaticly picking up ammo and less crashes. Where I've had at least 10 crashes in the original, I've experienced none in Warhead. This is a very enjoyable, albeit short, experience that I recommend.
First time playing this game. Maximum strength. Throw red barrel at semi. Enemies come swarming around semi. Shoot red barrel. Massive explosion. Dopamine. Fantastic game.
