Good remaster - worth on a sale
I mainly purchased the Remastered Trilogy on the 65% sale (BTW the discount is overall more on the Trilogy Bundle), because I think Crytek's implementation of Rasterized Ray Tracing should be applauded and supported. Yes the original lighting tone does take a bit of a backseat, but I think it is worth experiencing Ray Tracing on non RTX-hardware. I play this at 24-30FPS at High Settings with High Ray Tracing on my RX 480 and then enable Radeon Anti Lag to bring back response on my input, overall making it worth to experience the quality, even at a lower frame rate. The game does seem to be optimized to achieve high frame rates at the Low or Medium preset, as mine booted on the Low preset and it looked similar to Crysis 1 OG at High settings and was getting 150FPS+ on my system, so there is optimization worth getting in the remaster, depending at which settings you want to play. Personally, like I said I bought it for the Ray Tracing and average around 27FPS on the High Preset, looking forward to Crysis 2 as I liked it more than Crysis 3.
