Maximum Strength
I played this game on "easy" and it was much fun. The four abilities of your power-suit (strength, speed, armor and stealth) are a fine idea. I got constantly hit from guys somewhere invisible in the bushes, but that's what "armor" is good for. You just need a short break at a safe spot to load it up again. Then to close combat distance with "speed" and use the shotgun. If nothing helps there is still "invisible". You drive Jeeps (with MGs and yes on easy-mode you can drive AND fire), motorboats, helicopters. You fight at very different locations, shoot ugly aliens, the game has everything that's fun about a shooter. It's not perfect, I was stuck once due to a bug, but with the help of a walkthrough it's doable. I don't know how good it is, if you prefer the more ambitious tactical approach, but if you love to rush in, as we say in German, "ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste", then buy it and try it. With MAXIMUM SPEED!

Fantastic Game
So, Anyone who is a gamer will know of Crysis, Crysis was talked all over Australia and was a big hit in our country, every Aussie Nerd would go on for ages how they could whack the tanks and surge through the enemies with power strength and much much more, it was at the time, where you needed also the latest graphics card that if you didn't it would blow your power supply or much much worse, Crysis, is indeed a trip back to nostalgia. Thank You GOG for adding such a great game to bring back those days.

Classic PC exclusive FPS
I must say this is a classic and solid PC FPS that are very rare these days. The game-play and action is very fun but if you want a challenge I recommend the Delta difficulty I finished the game recently on the hardest difficulty more. I love hitting this game up from time to time so am glad to see the GOG release works very well. Without the DRM that was present in the original boxed copy that had limited activation playing it again is much easier. Also apparently non GOG versions of this game don't have the 64-bit executable but the GOG version definitely has got this.

Outstanding early, Bad late
I replay Crysis & its Warhead expansion annually, it's still that good—thank you Crytek for this & Far Cry. If I ever get tired of it, there are some great mods to try. I won't repeat other reviewers' descriptions. The first 2/3 is an outstanding open-world multi-choice experience—each replay I try to remember what I did last year, and look for an alternative this time. Warhead mirrors this part of the game. I've only played the last 1/3 of the game once, just to complete the game. Very different experience, which I do not enjoy at all—much more of the closed-world on-rails guns blazing in other popular games I don't like. But the first 2/3 is so good, it's still a 5-star game. Tech quality is also outstanding, both gameplay & interface, it's obvious it was made for PC first. If you like strategic & tactical choices in an open world environment, Crysis & Warhead are still top choices.
