Don't expect to play a lot of hours
I purchased this game because it was cheap and I like roguelikes. This one is nice and well done, but the lastest levels are a bit difficult. After playing ten hours, I don't find myself wanting to play it anymore, it bores me.

Cool game with 2 severe technical issues
As the title already says: the game itself is cool and I like how the beat and the movements all align. The design of the enemies is also fabulous. Nothing to complain here. However, there are two technical issues, at least on my Linux machine (I know I'm part of a minority), that are so severe that I will not play this game for very long. I use Linux Mint, which is so close to Ubuntu (i.e. the officially supported Linux distro) that I had never any problems that people using Ubuntu did not experience. I will list them in decreasing order of severity (all IMHO). 1) The controller does not work at all. Controller support was one of the reasons I bought this game. I can skip the intro but that's it, nothing after that. All but one other game work perfectly on my machine in that respect, and that game has flawed controller support everywhere. I suggest this is either fixed or an explicit note added that Linux does not have controller support. 2) Annoyingly, pressing ESC during the loading sequence automatically exits the game once loading finishes. I accidentally killed the game many times just because I pressed ESC one too many times to skip the intro sequence. To summarize: great game, but one of the main points badly executed technically on Linux (can't speak for other OSes). I appreciate that Linux support is there at all, but I cannot avoid feeling somewhat disappointed. I spent more than an hour trying to fix the problem with the controller, but to no avail.
