He’s green with red spots, has suction cups for hands, and he’s got an overbite! His name is Cosmo and he is a young alien on his way to visit a world-famous amusement park with his parents. That is, until their ship is struck by a blazing comet, forcing them to land on an uncharted planet.

While his Dad repairs the ship, Cosmo heads off to explore the strange planet. Upon returning, both his Mom and Dad are gone, and big, scary alien footprints are all around his ship! Oh no! Have Cosmo's parents been captured? Possibly to be eaten? Well, Cosmo is off to the rescue.

Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure is an exciting journey across a forbidden planet full of dangers and surprises. Cosmo is a lovable extra-terrestrial with a special ability: he has hands that work like suction cups! He can cling to walls, ledges, and all sorts of things. Using his suction hands, Cosmo is able to avoid dangers, scale cliffs and get to places other aliens can't reach. Can he save his parents before they're lightly seasoned and devoured?

Pure nostalgia

I loved this game when I was growing up, but we only had the shareware version. It's nice to be able to play the whole game, which is a decent bit harder than just the first part.

Ok oldschool platformer

I vaguely remember having a shareware version of this game in the 90s but I had better games to play so I pretty much forgot about it. Also nowadays the game feels a bit clunky at first, but once you get the hang of the controls it's pretty good. The sound is not very good, I had to turn the sound off and listen to other music instead. I usually like old pc speaker style sounds but the sounds of this game got to my nerves for some reason. But it's entirely playable also without sound, so it's up to you. I completed the three episodes in a quite short time, even though some levels had some irritatingly difficult jumps and stuff that you have to do over and over again. You have to really learn to master the wall-jump tricks. But the more I played the more I enjoyed it. Probably not as good as Secret Agent (that was one of my childhood favorites) but if you like old Apogee platformers you might want to try this out too. Played on: Linux Mint

Not as good as I remember it..

..Which is unfair, considering I've only played the shareware version of it, all those years ago ( can't believe it's almost three full decades now). Funny thing: It's one of those cases where I want to enjoy it at it fullest, considering that I love almost every other Apogee platform games, buuuut I can, for the simple fact that every single one of the other Apogee game are way more enjoyable and .. well.. better design. This does not mean '' the game hasn't a character'': it's actually pretty colorful and funny ( a little too much similar to Commander Keen, but to tell honestly they might share the same in-game universe) and, later, becomes a little weird. No no no no, the game really focuses too much on one single aspect: being a d**k. But not in a funny way, like Bio menace, but in a monotonous, excruciating manner that really drops the ball after the first episode, and to tell the truth even before that. Other than that, story is ( like wow) almost the same of one of the ep of Commander Keen, soundtrack is enjoyable ( if you are into old PC sounds) and the graphics are the typical Apogee game ( although there a few exception). But, in the end, although it does provide the player with the unique ability ( at least at the time) of sticking to the walls, doesn't get that placing 2000 traps in a single level for every level of the game doesn't really push the average player ( for the time, since the market was different, maybe) into playing it for a long time. So, worth buying? ...Yes, but only for retro and nostalgia fun. All other, stay very away. P.S. Unfortunately this game didn't STICK around to much! ( nope, this pun truly sucks..)
