Why buy on GOG.COM?
DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play.
i cannot even play the game . G O G in there great wisdom gives me the error message ...cpu not compatable, does support sse 4.2 ....whatever that is ? so they let me buy the game, install gog, and then install the game, only to get this error message ! what a waste of time and money ! a list of games that need sse 4.2 would be a sensible idea, so we know not to buy these games, until we have upgraded....but that would be TOO sensible. i will stick to STEAM oin future !
Optimization is awkward - 40 FPS, when there is only face of main character on screen. Story could be fun ... in 97. Gameplay is so poor, I've seen more advanced gameplay in games twenty years ago. Indigo prophecy has much more interesting story in comparision to this.
The characters, story, and plot in this game are so contrived and nonsensical that the only way a person could believe it's a decent game is if they're under mind control. So I guess the title fits.
In this game, I can proudly say "Dead, Dead on the floor!" when my foes are murdered in cold, non-violent blood!
This game is vaguely parkour-based, but with the ability to scream "Dead, dead on the floor I say!"
Yours truly, Ethan
[ P . S: I have refunded this title. ]
Control is such an overhyped piece of drivel, I don't even know where to start.
The graphics are the only thing going for this game. Gameplay feels really basic and the supernatural aspect of the superpowers feels underutilized, and it's bogged down by a tacked-on loot and progression system that's just there for the sake of it.
Jesse keeps externalizing her every single fucking thought like the writers got paid per word, even mid-dialogue.
But the nail in the coffin is the writing... It feels like a bad SCP fanfiction written by someone who wanted to sound super mysterious but took a blunt force approach to obtuse and [REDACTED] elements.
It's such a mess and I'm angrier than I should be because I only realized it 3 hours in, by which time it was too late for a refund.
