DOES NOT RUN ON WINDOWS 8!

Used to love this game. Apparently testing this on Windows 8 was not a priority. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU RUN WINDOWS 8!

What the hell is it with almost every review on this page being a 5-star jerkyoff level climax of unwarranted worship to this utterly medicore game? IT IS JUST NOT THAT GOOD! On the other hand I find the 1-star slagging offs unwarranted too! Out of all these reviews, there's only ONE other than this, that correctly declares this game medicore. What is wrong with you lot? This game is just a bog standard RTS - with NO active pause (which is why it got 2 instead of 3 stars off me!). Everything about it is thouroughly humdrum, GFX, sound, mechanics, play style, range of units, campaign missions, story, everything. There are 1000 better space RTS games out there. Including the "Homeworld" it is being constantly compared to! Greatly overpriced when not on offer, but when it is on 50% or more off, well - give it a whirl, there's playable value to be had, just don't expect to be amazed - and DO NOT let these pathological 5-star reviews fool you!
