i put the game in all i get is a black screen:( put in my wife computer she get a black screen:( we both have good video cards - (evga 660 gforce) (i got a radeon r7870 core edition)
both computer has windows 7 - 64) 1tb harddriver on both and 24gb of memory) it download ok. it just set there with a black screnn:( i cant rat the game because i dont know what the problem is:( let me know what you think:) i did put 5 you all like it:)
I remember years ago when this came out, I was younger and didn't have things like a credit card, or a job.... I used to download and play demos for hours back when computer demos seemed to be a bigger thing than they are today. The demo of this game took hundreds of hours from me, I played the one skirmish map for a year. I could not get over how amazing this game was. Especially for breaking out of the RTS genre and being unique. I later bought the disc and had one of the greatest real time strategy experiences of my lifetime. In the SCI-FI RTS department this game is number one. It should of been a cult favorite, it was another overlooked or skipped over game.
PS ------ THIS GAME WORKS FINE ON WINDOWS 7 AND 8 NOW
Can't really say too much about this version of the game, presented by GOG, as it's currently not playable, and what fixes are available either fail or don't work well enough to be able to play. I had it before problems like this existed, and I gave it 4/5. But this . . . being unable to play is worth less than 1/5.
I played this as a kid, but this download, nor steams still load/ launch with fresh installs, without having to mod bunch of files. Very disappointed. When I can launch it and it plays without a bunch of changes. I'll give it a 5 star. I guess i go back to steams. Wasted my money here
