Commandos 2 The Best.
Commandos 2 is no doubt a timeless classic same as the first game, however Commandos 2 is superior in many aspects to commandos 1 and 3, being the third game the weakest. Get for free the Destination Paris mod for Commandos 2 Men of Courage and you will have the whole saga in one game, with 324 missions to test your RTS might. Destination Paris is a community made mod totally free, easy to get easy to install. Commandos 2 + Destination Paris is a 11gb game aprox, and is no doubt one of the best rts games, and with enough content for several months of game!

The classic is still the best
Was very excited to see that this game had been remastered - but then on seeing the reviews decided that buying the new version may not be the best idea. So I searched and found you could still buy the original. I spent hours playing this games when I was younger and had fond memories of it - should I buy it? Back to the reviews, and saw many had issues with it not running on Windows 10. Grrrrr.... Oh what the hell - for a few pounds maybe I'd find a work round. Didn't need to - it's working perfectly! Was the game still as good - Yes, but I'd not realised have far UI has moved on. So it takes a little getting used to, but it's still a cracker. It's a classic game, a WWII tactical puzzle of a game. It's fab.

Dear GOG team, please add a fix to both Commandos 2 and Commandos 3. Games crash on Win 11 due to ntdll.dll library according to Windows Event Viewer.

One of the best series ever
If you like puzzle and strategy games, it's kind of a mix of both. The standout game is obviously C2, which is considered to be the best game of this franchise, but I preffered C3 because it's based solely in europe (C2 takes place all around the globe). I've beaten the whole series multiple times and keep coming back to it every couple of years. If you played the first game and it's addon and made through those, these are a lot simpler (mainly due to having a lot more options). However, if you're up for some ballbreaking difficulty, check out Destination Paris Mod for C2. It supposedly offers all of the missions from BEL,BCOD,C3 and lots of fan-made missions (Supposedly,because I haven't beaten it yet, I'm actually stuck on mission 3 :( ) Be warned though, it's not for the faint of heart. While the abilities of your commandos are slightly extended when compared to the base game, the enemies are much more numerous and all visited the ophthalmologist.
