...under a different name and it also had its source code bundled, and essentially its quality has not improved - engine errors, PC grinding to a halt, unpredictable interactions with trucks - all of that is still true nowadays. Great idea, poor execution, because the developer probably lost interest midways, which is justifiable , considering it's an updated, dynamic version of the early-90ies SKYROADS classic.

The floor is lava, but with trucks. If you like chaotic first person platforms, you'll probably have fun with this one. The levels are (mostly) short and exciting. The game is pretty challenging, but not frustrating. The one thing I didn't like is one annoying (but not game breaking) bug, sometimes when I restart a level after I pressed the "A" button on my controller, my character will jump continuously as if I'm pressing the "A" button again and again. Weirdly enough, pressing any button other than "A" when the message "PRESS ANY KEY TO RESTART" appears, will prevent that from happening. Also the time tracking feature didn't work, but I didn't mind that so much. (If any developer is reading this review, I ran the native Linux build on a Steam Deck)

cool game but annoying I have a skill issue

Firstly the game rund very vell on my machine and the engine feels really smoothe when one needs to make fast turns. I think that my biggest complaint would be that this game feels pretty barebones when compared to other platforming games but overall I think where this shines is the first person 3D gameplay. As for the gameplay, I thought it was a pretty good idea that was executed well. While most of the levels weren't too difficult to me (I am mediocre at best at platformers) there were a good amount of difficult levels that required me to replay them a few times more than I am proud to admit. Although most of the levels were pretty good with memorable parts, there were a few levels that are completely forgettable. Although this game does not have a level editor (it would be fantastic if it did) the developer has released bonus levels post launch that to my knowledge were free to me. I picked this game up on sale a while back and I thought it was definintely worth it.
