Description
“Year by year, She erases us.”
Once a year, the Paintress wakes and paints upon her monolith. Paints her cursed number. And everyone past that age turns to smoke and fades away. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 may very well win game of the year and may do so with the staff of under 50 people, proving that passion, dedication, talent and a clear vision are far more important than a large marketing budget, scores and scores of writers and tech personnel, and a big brand to rely on. I can’t wait to see what’s next from Sandfall Interactive and hope it looks a lot like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

GOG needs to be faster
Exceptional game with a bit of a spicy difficulty spike just before the ending that could blindside people who are not great at reaction-based gameplay. Would have loved to buy this on GOG instead of Steam. Didn't even buy it day one, but a couple weeks after launch. So either GOG needs to be a lot faster with big game releases, or louder and more communicative about which games they are currently working towards adding to the catalogue. I don't mind waiting a couple of weeks or months, but I will not hold off on buying a great game when I don't know if it is going to release on GOG at all.

A Truly great game
Great game, story is top notch, environments are beautiful and soundtrack is top notch. If I had 3 wishes for the game it would be to have a Mac version available and to add options for what to carry over in NewGame+, and a language filter option, I'd love to let my older kids to play it, but I won't with some of the language.

Maybe I like the French now
An extremely well executed JRPG with interactive combat and an intriguing story, fairly priced and made by a team that is so passionate you can feel the love for this medium ooze from every single thing in the game. Get it if you can.
