Build your settlement. Gather and refine resources from forests and quarries, breed animals, grow vegetables, fish and make wine, so you can keep your population healthy and fed. Improve your buildings and ensure water supply with aqueducts. Welcome citizens to your village as artisans, farmers, carpenters... or train them to join your legions in different units. Towers and walls will protect your village from barbarian attacks, while it grows into a magnificent city.
Expand. Explore the world map, free villages under siege and experience the power of the most advanced armies of the era: the legion, engaging in tactical auto-battle combat. Once the territory is secured, you can set trade routes, import exotic resources and scale up your economy. City Building, evolved. Citadelum presents a unique three layered gameplay, based in city building core mechanics, strategic expansion and commerce, and the role of the gods. You will find different missions, artifacts and challenges in every playthrough.

Caesar III Reborn
If you were a fan of city management and building games from back in the day, like Caesar III, this is the game for you, only just finished the first tutorial mission but I'm hooked - there's so much depth to this already, I cannot wait to dive back in and start building bigger cities.

Excellent in its simplicity
Reminds me of the old Caesar games, and much like the old Caesar games the combat is a bit too simplistic whereas the city building is elegant and very satisfying. Don't spend too much time on the battles and you'll have a whale of a time!

okayish Game for the price
The game feels unfinished. The mechanics are basic but servicable. Nice ressource management. Some base defense, managing conentment of your citizens. All good and well. Really enjoyable and nice to spend a calm winter evening. However. The legions don't cost anything after creating. Besides some small attacks the later stages of the game offer nothing in regards to challenge or even occupying your attention. After balancing the economy your town just runs itself. The world map is only a few towns and feels empty. There are products you cannot produce but they feel like you should be able to. They are offered by some villages sometimes, but are also demanded by them in trade, so it feels like the game isn't finished. It was just shipped with some features not implemented. Buy below 5€ then you are okay for what you get.

Good Roman city builder
Good game, with a little bit of production planning, trading and few battles. I didn't put 5star because city defense isn't great, but battle outside the city are fun.
