Play this if you what to guide a grumpy fluff ball and his sidekick in a quest to eat a cherry in a point and click adventure packed with black humor. The art style is cute and belies the perpetual dark sense of humor. Fans of road runner might feel right at home. Paired with the bloopy music and noisy sounds dealing with all kinds of odd creatures did not deliver the charming experience of other games from this developer. I’ll give it that: it is highly imaginative at all times. But to a modern receptionist I wouldn't recommend this for kids, although they may actually have more fun with it. Riddles range from one to multiple screens solved predominately by trial and error - sometimes even by forced design. Exploring all the possible options is, however, rewarded by very creative animated scenes showing the often unpredictable outcome of your choice. This is spiced up occasionally by a little mini-game. Just don't expect any hard nuts to crack.

another lazy and overpriced flash game, though not as much as botanicula, their much older, yet more expensive release. this is also thankfully shorter (~2 hours instead of 5+) but the same 'click everything, see if it does anything whether it's logical or not' formula. the single-screen(ish) puzzles would be much better than navigating mazes in botanicula, except there's more unskippable arcade nonsense than puzzles. flappy bird, space invaders, pac-man and possibly more, that's where I quit. didn't think they could do worse than botanicula but here we are. the only setting is windowed mode, nothing for the incredibly annoying audio, let alone separate volumes for music, sfx and irritating gibberish. I had to completely mute the game after a matter of minutes, which improved the experience considerably. there's also level select, unlike in botanicula. still, if you want to click on things for potentially funny animations, stick to humongous titles (putt-putt, etc.), they're done a lot better.

Great fun! Good for playing with kids!

So this is a cute puzzle game with some (easy) puzzles. There is this crazy atmosphere and you smile often. There is no dialog in the game and no real violence (not more than normal cartoons on TV anyway) os it's perfect for my 7 year old to play with me. She loves it and we have played the game together many times now. Chill, short, easy puzzle game where the player don't need to know english. Just what I was looking for! <3

The graphics and the whole slapstick (is this the right word?) comedy is great, the same can be said for the sound effect, music and the whole gameplay. There is this little black ball-like hairy thing (is it a guy?), that - as soon, as he wakes up from sleep - wants/tries to eat his cherry and well... the adventure begins :) Try the game yourself.
