Better than quake
Gunplay is satisfying, the sound design is so good it makes weak weapons feel powerful, and the art style is a treat to look at.

Where's my achievements, though?
Solid FPS gameplay. Love the enemy designs. The HD remaster looks great and runs great, but achievements seem to be broken. I've completed the whole game and defeated every boss, but not gotten the achievements for doing so.

Fun, Charming and Influential
Meh'd by critics as poor man's Quake back in 1997, Chasm's fun and charming gameplay has stood the test of time and is now considered a 90s fps classic. Play it and see why so many boomer shooters, like HROT, are trying to emulate the game's inimitable vibes.
