Terrible level design
These levels seem to have been designed to be confusing and boring, like I think nearly anyone could do a better job desigining these levels. The actual gunplay is pretty bad but like, it's fine for the time I guess. The plot is fucking stupid but entertaining with it's stupidity, but I'm sorry the level design is just too bad, I've spend hours just looking for the next way forward, it's so fucking shit.

For Windows XP only
IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFO: Contrary to what the info section says, this game won't run on any Windows OS following XP. Vista and 7 users are locked out. GAME REVIEW: No doubt Chaser has been a very ambitious project as it's an FPS of epic proportions. Lots of levels to blast through and a story that at least tries to keep up with the game's length. Regretfully the game is unable to deliver all that it promises in the beginning. Gameplay is repetitive, level design dull, the story has some twists, but ultimately is boring and uninspired. You never feel any connection to the character you're playing. The last two levels have to be the most boring ever designed for a shooter. It was there that I finally lost all hope (Yes, I had been patient till the bitter end). But the most flawed thing is the ending itself. I can't imagine anyone having suffered through endless of look-a-like hallways, streets and space-stations not being disappointed by the final cutscene. To sum it all up: Chaser had a lot of potential, but most of it went to waste. The story, as already said, is promising in the beginning, the graphics are quite good, the sound is alright, but this is such a severely flawed game that I just can't recommend it. Only for shooter fanatics who need to have played them all.
