The King of France just died and because King Charles didn’t have any heir, it is up to you to take control of as much of France as you can. Problem...
I love Castles 2 and was excited to find it here. Still a great game, but I'm having some problems with it. Sometimes, when going back to the game after logging out and logging back in, the videos don't work and while it looks like the game is playing, I'm not seeing the results of any diplomatic or military actions. I have Windows 7. Is anyone else having this problem?

Still have the floppy disks
This game had it all. From massive castles, to being ex-communicated by the pop. This game should be considered as a stepping stone of almost all turn base strategies.

All aboard the nostalgia train.
I used to play these games during grade school recess on a rainy day. Now that I think back on it, it was probably the first computer game I'd ever played. All these years later it's still just as fun as I remember it.

Good And Bad
I Like Castles 2 A LOT My dad played is all the time when I was a kid, and it's always fun! But, long after that I played the 1st one. I must say, I do not like it. I feel that the 2nd game is worth your time, if for nostalgia alone. But if you haven't played them, $6 my not be worth it.

Castles 2, using VISTA and DOS emulator
I still could never get this game to install, but I'll try your copy, maybe it will work. I have the original disks somewhere in my house, but tried a downloaded copy and it was bust. I loved this game. The only game from that era where you 'could' 'build' a castle.
