Brigador: Up-Armored Edition

MandaloreGaming and SsethTzeentach in the same video? Endorsing the same game? It should be one of Newton's laws that said game can only be amazing! We need more people like them bringing us together in this way, to support good games, especially in these trying times. Big thanks to them. Im sorry but i've tried Brigador twice now, installed, played for a bit then deleted because im bored. The action and combat of the game is fun, graphics are sweet and music is decent however this all makes for nothing without a real story. The campaign is anything but enthralling with absolute wafer thin plot. The aquisitions for more "lore" or extra weapons is quite simply boring, all you get is text no photos, pictures or cool schematics. Consequently theres no desire to play the game and unlock anything. The thrill is just not there. I'd go into more detail to help the developers but frankly if they cant see it then my words are wasted. im so bored i dont even want to write this review! Yes i've read theres an audio book and some other nonsense but i bought a GAME not a novel to sit and read on my computer screen. If the game had real story, cool unlockables, pictures, schematics, maps, cutscenes etc it would be ace. If this game were made in the 90s you'd have all that.

I usually am not into real-time and action games, but the great reviews convinced me to buy this title, and i really am not disappointed: The game is very well designed, just received a free, major update, has an insane amount of replayability, and simply is so much fun to play! After a long day of hard work, Brigador is a pleasure :) For the asked price, there really is no reason not to purchase this game! 5 Stars, and an absolute recommendation from my side. Btw, the soundtrack is amazing, i strongly recommend the special edition ;)

Cross a twinstick shooter with mech warrior, add a psychodelic neon soundtrack and a cold and gloomy atmosphere and you have brigador. I love this game. It has a very interesting setting, gorgeous music. Terrain and mech design could be right from mech warrior or the old command and conquer games.

I really like the other review here - it's really like "mechwarrior made a baby with diablo" - it's very in point, but not 100%. Game is really fun, but only for the first 0.5 - 1 hour of play, then it gets really repetitive. Various vehicles doesn't really help, as all levels are very similar to each other, there's no much variety from neon/night/garden city scapes.. I wish there was more types of them available.
