1.1 GOG v2 (28 October 2025)
- Updated keyboard movement controls to a more modern layout:
- W – forward, S – back, Q – turn left, E – turn right, A – step left, D – step right
- Added controller support through DOSBox mapping. Controller type and player assignment can now be selected in the Game Configurator (for example, “Xbox Player 1” makes Player 1 use an Xbox controller)
- Added an option in the Game Configurator to view gamepad controls
- Added a one-click fix button for broken save files (missing stairs issue) in the Game Configurator. This automates a process that previously required manual DOSBox commands
- Added the command.com file from DOS 5 to enable automatic save file fixes via FOR loops
- Renamed the cloud_saves folder to cloud to ensure proper DOS compatibility
- Automated sound and graphics setup using stuffit.com, so AdLib and VGA are now auto-selected on launch. These can still be changed in the Game Configurator
- Improved default DOSBox graphics settings for better visuals: resolution now matches the desktop, output is set to OpenGL, and the Galaxy Overlay has been disabled due to compatibility issues
- Stability validated
- Fully compatible with Windows 10 and 11
