Fun game in Vampire Survivors style
Bloodshed has its roots in both Vampire Survivors and Doom. On the one hand, it takes the skill development system, on the other the speed of gameplay. The first thing that strikes the eye is the pixel graphics, its “intensity” can be changed in the settings. The core gameplay is quite simple, there is a level, we run, we blast everything that stands in our way. There are several playable characters, which differ slightly in style and arsenal. The game is fast paced, but also quickly shows all its potential and somewhat disappoints. Maybe it would be better if I put it in pluses and minuses :) Pros: - Interesting pixel graphics. The intensity of the pixels can be changed in the settings - Fast-paced gameplay, slightly slower than Doom but still at an enjoyable level - Well constructed, varied levels - Simple gameplay, which does not require much concentration, there is no problem to simultaneously turn on the podcast and listen to it Cons: - bonus boxes have overly long animations, which unnecessarily slows down gameplay - far too easy, especially when playing the second character - the witch - quickly shows all its potential and becomes very boring and unsatisfying - at higher levels of character development due to pixel graphics there is so much happening on the screen that you can't see much, just like in Vampire Survivors - some maps (battles) last too long and get tedious. 20-30 minutes is too much for quite repetitive gameplay. I think if the game was faster this time could be reduced to 10 minutes The price 7,20$ or 6.30€ is ok but if you don't like pixel style, it may be a good idea to check somewhat different Doom instead
