Classic first person shooter
Blast from the past. Occultists, zombies, monsters and explosives. What else do you really need ? Sound effects are great.

Boomer Shooter that makes you think
When I've tried this game in the past I never really got further than the first level. Maybe not even halfway through. I was immediately turned off by the difficulty. The game has a retro gory immature vibe to it that hides a lot of neat touches. The levels are really well designed and though the enemies and weapons aren't very interesting, the way that you progress is very interesting. The dynamite and flare guns create unique opportunities for clearing a room, but you have to be very careful how you use them. I would consider this an environmental puzzle survival game with how you have to conserve your ammo. Lots of fun if you're willing to do a lot of save scumming on the higher difficulties.

Old awesome classic
One of the greats. A brutal FPS with cheesy horror inspired by many other pieces of horror fiction of the time. Gameplay is simply golden perfection, though heavily reflex and metagaming driven on higher difficulties. The cinematics are utter garbage, but you don't play the game for those, I even forgot they existed. Still has some old bugs, too, like sometimes enemies don't drop keys when they are burned to death? Nightdive didn't fix those sadly, but the game runs so well and without needing any fiddling with dosbox or the like.

I Love This Game
I'd say that this was the best use of the Ken Silverman's Build Engine. The elements of masochism and horror make Blood such a treat to play. I especially love setting Cultists on fire!
