Blood: Fresh Supply

I'd call this more of a port than a "remaster" as Nightdive didn't really remaster anything. What they did do is faithfully port one of the best Build engine games to modern Windows, with just enough QoL improvements to make it a more desirable option than playing the original in DosBox.

It is considered by many the best build engine FPS game ever made. Solid, but not my favorite. Playing it on hard difficulty can be quite a challenge (and also quite frustrating, especially the extra episodes). The final bosses have a cool background and in general they are quite cool, however, the last one, Chernobog, was a disappointment (too easy to kill). It has one the most creative (and diabolical) weapons I have ever seen in a FPS: the voodoo doll. Above average level design, but too repetitive at times. Ultra-violent in a kind of fun way, it has aged well.

I mean, I heard it's good, but didn't expect it to be that good. It is tons of fun! Good audio. Gameplay is fast-paced. I am thankful for adding better controls and making it run well on new devices. The game is simply amazing! <3

This is a game where you need to take the difficulty levels seriously and play on Easy if it's your first time. Work your way up to the harder modes. Master the mechanics first and dedicate yourself to playing through it a couple times if you want to beat it on the hardest difficulty. It's worth doing for this game since the level design, interactivity, and combat are all incredibly well-done.
