awesome!
This game is amazing. I'm so, so, so happy to play it again. Play the "restored content" version...trust me, it's worth it.

So glad to see this finally happen!
I bought this game on release back in 1997! It came on like 6 CDs and it blew me away! I had never played anything like it. A game that progresses in real-time? Damn what a feat for the late 90s! Can't wait to play it again. Thank you GOG!

Classic of the classics
So much memories. One of the best point&clic game, with randomness of the replicants, multiple endings and a great feeling of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner athmosfere.

Good but not great
The atmosphere is pretty amazing especially considering when it came out. The music fits real well. From my understanding, the locations match the movie pretty accurately. The story is really amazing and was the best part of the game. The graphcis are ok but considering when it came out, that doesn't bother me. I think what makes this not a great game is the typically point and click adverture problems. It leads to frustration at times and boredom at others. Sometimes there is pixel hunting that will prevent you from moving on until you find what you need. Even though you don't know that you are looking for something if that makes sense. You don't always know where you're supposed to go so I spent a lot of time going from the same old locations over and over and talking with the same characters to see if I missed anything. This was repetitive and boring and frustrating. It would have been nice for the character to give you some sore of idea what you needed to do next or where to go. He did do that once or twice later in the game. There was one time where you couldn't proceed to a room because something was stopping you and you needed to find something and give it to a character but why you would need to do this was not clear. Once the item was given, the game let you proceed but gave no indication that the way was free. Sometimes characters wouldn't show up that you needed to progress the story until what appeared to be a random time. So if not by luck going to the same location, I would have been searching other places for a long time. It was things like this that kept it from being a great game. I would get it if you are ok with frustrating puzzles and you are a fan of the film or cyperpunk in general. Not bad but not great.
