Blade Runner

I enjoyed the game and the options. Wish there were more games like this one. Only problem is that I had to have a walkthru handy. I got stuck about five times in the course of a fifteen-hour playthru. I don't think the solutions to proceed weren't at all intuitive in those cases. Spoiler-free tho'. Anyway, I'll keep my eyes open for more.

I bet I'm not the only one mentioning this, but I was so looking into a legit (and actually working) way to play my original copy of the game on a modern PC... You guys are the best, this was a gem saved from the technological advancement oblivion. And for any fan of the movie out there, rest assured this is a GREAT game and a GREAT homage to Ridley Scott's masterpiece. Love sci-fi? Love point&click adventures? This is a must.

I got this game when it was released (I still remember the huge billboard advert that was in my town - most unusual for a small town like mine). It truly is a fantastically atmospheric adventure. Really a follow through of the vision of the movie. 13 different endings, branching story, good main character. Well worth buying. 👌

This will be mostly from memory. Let's see, you have to track "skin jobs" but you have to do certain things at certain times or characters wont be in certain places because they move around, and there are multiple solutions to most situations, and there are multiple endings (less vague than the original film). Also, the story is fantastically written (although admitted a bit fan service-y) to correspond with the original film. What this means is while you play the game the original movie is also taking place so sometimes you run into characters from the film, or hear about things characters from the film have done. This was such a good idea that really helps to set the tone for a game that was made like... 15 years or something after the original movie even came out sort of giving us the true sequel to the original film in a lot of ways (its WAAAAYYYY better written than that 2049 trash and there are better characters - no weird robot and AI "sex scenes" or Jared Leto here). 2049 is a bad movie. This is a great game that has nothing to do with it and spits on that trash. Yay! I made this about something else. No, but seriously. Play this game if you like the good Blade Runner, and not that one made by a hack who is trying to prove he can make movies by poorly making sequels to movies that didn't need them in the first place and failing miserably. BUY THIS GAME! DON'T BUY BLADE RUNNER 2049! :D

My old time point and click game is back! Wuhoo! I still have original game and the game box in good condition, but getting it back with GOG treatment is huge boon! If you want to play one of the most iconic and thematic games of the last decades, try this one! It captures the feeling of the original movie and does that well! There was/are bugs and the game is not easy, but even if you only play part of this game, it awards you with good moments.
