Blade Runner

Played this back in the days multiple times and have not been able to for a LONG time, as I don't own the CD anymore and had no way of running this. Wislisted this for years now and started giving up hope! Bringing this to modern PC is really awesome, being a really good point and click adventure in it's own right, it's even quite as good as the movie itself, which is my favorite movie of all times (admittingly dystopias are my favorite genre) and best movie tie in game ever made in my opinion. If you like point and click adventures (with classic nostalgic graphics of course) and the before mentioned genres, never have played this definitely try it out!

What a wonderful surprise to see this classic here, this is GOG going back to its roots with this game finally been made available. This is one I of the few games I never tire playing again, still have it boxed, pristine discs and the gear to play those kinds of oldies flawlessly, but I still had to buy it here anyway. Not only as support/thanks for those who bought this classic to the digital age, but it will be nice to do it the 'lazy way' for a change, as in just install and play it on the modern gear. Others will and already have given reviews that do justice to this great classic better than I would do, so all I will say really is for those who never had the chance and pleasure to get and play this game, do yourself a favour and get it.

Thank you GOG! This is fantastic! I've been waiting years and years for this game to be released by GOG. I had a physichal copy of it back when I was younger, but after lending it out to all my friends several times the CDs got scratches and hence unusable. This game in my mind catches the atmosphere in the original movie. The lighting, characters, sound-effects and music gives me flashbabacks from when me and I friends played the game through over and over and over and over. This is a MUST BUY!

The impossible happened. GOG recovered this ancient lost relic. This game retains the soul of games from that period... a truly faithful adaptation from the film. I've been lurking the forums ever since this was posted on the wish list many years ago, and I never thought I'd see this day. Especially since Westwood went under around 15 years ago. An absolute instabuy and highly recommended. For those about to GOG, we salute you.

I still have the original CD version installed, patched an running on Windows 10 - but this is such an amazing game that I needed to buy it again, immediately, as soon as GOG announced it... both for the cross-platform support, and as yet another way to say "thank you, GOG!" If you have never had the joy of playing this, basically it runs parallel to the original movie - and although the graphics are a little voxelated nowadays, this is very easy to forget as you get immersed in the atmosphere; it genuinely feels like an official part of the movie franchise - the visuals, the voice acting, the soundtrack - all utterly fantastic. Play it through once, learn things, have a fwe surprises and laughs (and yes, a bit of occasional frustration - there are some bits that are timing-critical, so save often). Then when you play through again, try different things - there are many, many different outcomes and sometimes even if you fall back on the same responses you can get different endings depending on sequences of events or the initial RNG. You also have the option of changing the level/tone/aggression of McCoy's responses - or can choose to always be given free choice. Very immersive, fun, deep, intriguing story. Well worth the money. Thank you Westwood for the game in the first place, and thank you GOG for finally managing to bring it to modern systems.
