Profound, beautiful and memorable.
It's totally worth a try for players who love story and atmosphere.

Fine
The everpresent thing I find with this game is that it's mediocre, the gameplay is okay, the graphics are fine (the animation on elizabeth is actually incredible on that note) the music is pretty good. But the story of this game and burial at sea sum up everything I despise in a story, the story of this game and it's dlc's are a complete waste of your time, play the originals and steer clear of the shit stain that is unfortunately likely to be the last of an otherwise incredible series.

"Quality of Life" update
As almost all other players, after the "Quality of Life" update, 2K introduced its crapware and now you have to run the games manually from the game folder. I cannot recommend, as the other Bioshock titles anymore. gg

Masterpiece of a story, Good gameplay.
Plan to buy this game and confused why the review is so much polarizing in gog compared to steam? well, if I'd suggest you be listening to steam review since you will not be dissapointed by this game, especially if you have been playing Bioshock 1 and 2. Quick recaps: Masterpiece story, Good gameplay (nothing special, except for crispy reloading animation and audio), LINEAR gameplay (means everything is scripted.... everything) and finally: great collection of music/soundtracks you will still be listening after you finished the game. Should you buy it? Yes you should (especially when it's on the discount). Note: GOG version may a bit harder to run than the steam version, my pc somehow struggled to run it on highest setting while this is not happen on Steam version, maybe just my PC, nothing to worry about. Additional note: if you read the review from scrubking, you shouldn't, man has slime for brain for writing spoilers/end game story and butchered it. Listen to your own reason not morons.

Nothing like the first two games.
The gameplay itself and the graphics were somewhat OK. The story though...no, just no. For me, the series ended on Bioshock 2.
