Beyond Good & Evil™

The game itself is excellent however the PC port is poor. There are numerous times when the voice sync is off in cutscenes and there are several graphical glitches in the game. The controls of the PC port is also a bit off and the camera is very frustrating at times. Most of these problems can be fixed however you can't do much of the games controls and camera. I still give this 5 stars though because the game is just so brilliant. The experience is worth it if you can manage to overcomes the bad port job. I recommend playing the game on PS2, Gamecube, or the orignal Xbox if you happen to own one of those consoles and can manage to find a copy!!!

I bought this game when it first came out and I still play it now and then, and enjoy it as much as the first time - I can get through it rather quicker but then there are little subgames to explore. Jade, freelance photographer and martial artist with her jo (Japanese short staff) sets off to photograph all animals on Hillys with her uncle Pey'j, a pig (sus sapiens, you see). And why is Hillys being attacked by aliens? There are puzzles and combat but it never gets frustrating, it will appeal also to the less hardcore gamer. The French touch only adds to the charm. If you don't have this game, buy it now, d'ye hear.

Having never been able to find a copy of BGE on PS2, when I saw this game for download here, I jumped at the chance, and this is the best purchase I've made this year, by far. The game is so individual and unique, unlike all of the other games released at the time, and it's entirely worth your time to explore the story.

Not the best platform-action game, but not the worst eighter. The only REAL bad thing with this game is that it can't be played with a Joystick, a Joypad or a Gamecontroller. That's why only 4 stars from me. However: It does not hurt me to play with the Keyboard.

I have got this on PS2. It is an excellent game. I would get this game in a heart beat, if I didn't already have it. The combat is refreshing from other games of its time and the game play is great as well. If you don't get this you will be sad in the knowledge that you are missing a classic.
