Berserk Boy bursts onto a crowded market of platformers in a strong flash of inspiration. With its literally game-changing form system, energetic soundtrack, and impactful visual design, it's a game well worth playing to the end. It just doesn't make as strong of an argument for you to stick around after the credits in its current state.

Sonic The Berserk Boy
Pros: - you go FAST in this game - movment and controls just feel right - wonderful soundtrack - pretty pixel art Cons: - to get a normal ending you have to backtrack and collect bunch of items (I hate when games do that) - constant switching between abilities hurts pacing a little bit

A love letter to games of old
This game is everything I've been looking for to scratch that retro platformer itch. Somehow they've managed to take the best bits and the soul of a retro game, bring it into the modern world with super fluid movement and fresh aesthetics. One great thing about this game is the community, there's a dedicated speedrun scene and a discord for fans of the game where we get to talk to the dev all the time. Highly recommend!!!!!

This game is so fun!
I’m playing the game on my switch right now and I really enjoy it! I normally don’t play a lot of platformer games but I was immediately attracted to its art and colours and I just had to play it. Some parts are a bit difficult for me, but I can feel myself getting better the more I play it which motivates me a lot! I highly recommend this game to everyone!
