Beneath a Steel Sky (1994)

This is one of my favourite games of all time and easily my favourite adventure games. Play it. The charm, wit and comedy provided by each charcter you come accross in the game is so heart warming and adictive. Couple with fantastic story writing and clever puzzles make it a game that is hard to put down. Just play it already, it's free to boot. Then try the new sequel recently released on iOS and soon on PC.

I played it when I was a teenager and downloaded it again to see if it was still as good as in my old times. Even though it's an old game the story is fresh and enjoyable. Absolutely recomended.

This is must play for any point and click player. The story is great, the characters are very well developed, the music is nice, the writing is excellent, the puzzles are fun. The only flaws are some very minor pixel hunting (there are locks and slots hidden everywhere) and sudden, unexpected deaths. I definitely recommend playing Beneath a Steel Sky to any classic adventure game lover though. Just save early, save often and save on several slots. Oh... and beware of the hole!

after installing linux the first time many years ago i looked in the repo for "games" and installed a few surprisingly, beneath a steel sky was free playable in scummvm! a really good story & yet simple point and click adventure

ok first time i played this but i have played and completed all the lucas arts games feeble files and many many other point and clicks and you know i thought this game was amazing lol i love the oldschool feel to this game and i give plenty of respect to the GOG guys for starting this site with sure good titles as this soif your a fan of funny , thoughtful and clever point and clicks give this a go and i think you wont be dissapointed ANDJAK
