Good Old Title...

I had heard of this game for years and never played it until now. It's what you would expect from a point-and-click adventure game. Talk to people, examine stuff, collect items, use items, solve puzzles, etc. The main character is likeable, but a little typical, I suppose. There's voice acting and a soundtrack. I unfortunately stumbled upon a bug where Joey, the robot, got stuck and would not follow me into the elevator, causing the game to basically freeze after my character asked him to follow. I, of course, had only one save and it was after Joey stopped moving. Had I not downloaded some backed up save files I found online, I'd have had to start over, which would have pissed me off royally. That's the biggest beef I had with the game. The story was interesting, but a little predictable. Visually, it's pleasingly retro. Anyway, think of King's Quest, Space Quest or similar titles. That's what this game is like. If you're an adventure game fan, definitely try this.

Pretty Great for a Free Game

I hesitated for years to play this game. I'm glad I gave it a chance! The story is very cute! I don't think I would have been able to figure this game out without a walkthrough though. I still very much enjoyed the gameplay and the nostalgia of these old school point and click type games. This one definitely feels like a classic game.

Insane, but in a good way

As a first-timer to this game, I wasn't sure what to expect. The game was certainly worth the few hours I spent playing on it, but I don't know if I would have been as pleased had I paid for it. Perhaps I'm just too used to modern P&Cs. Anyway, I still enjoyed the game due to its insane humor. The plot is hackneyed, the voice acting is mediocre, and the score is grating, but the art is lovely, especially when taken into context for the time, and the aforementioned wacky humor is also a big plus. The game is a bit too hard for my taste, but the included walkthrough helped me through any rough patches I encountered. Worth playing; not a game to add to my all-time favorites, but good.
