Potential incarnate

Such an unbelievably flawed project, this game is a full blown $20 and still manages to not deliver in a single way whatsoever. Graphics are FINE as most, its atmosphere makes everything muddy, low resolution textures, and multiple clashing artstyles Also its gameplay is horrid, for being a "gameplay focused" bendy game it sure does manage to do literally nothing new from the previous two titles. Its walking and grabbing things with an occasional enemy, and seemingly there was an attempt at enemy variety but due to clunky combat and meh controls its no different from the last two games zero story, none, nada. Boris gets more characterization in the third chapter of bendy and the ink machine than AT ALL in his own game. They name drop his soul (whom we have ZERO info on), and then set him free IN THE ENDING, you spend about 10 hours doing straight nothing, with ZERO plot relevance to chew on theres bugs and glitches but those dont even matter, they do so little harm the already dehydrated and suffocating experience. Also for a "remaster" it sure doesn't feel AT ALL complete. 3 Bosses? all variants of the same one. Every map has no more than 7 types of rooms so its VERY repetitive. No story, No Enemy Variety, Collect the same 6 objects over and over. For being a rougelike game is has barely any randomization or new encounters to keep it fresh, by 30 minutes in you've experience EVERYTHING the game can offer you and you still have to keep playing for about another 7-10 HOURS because of how sluggish it is 3/10, maybe a 4/10 if the patch thats coming this year actually does good for the game
