STORY
Johan, an introverted young man from the countryside, finds himself thrown into a conflict beyond his comprehension. The Aeons—-an enigmatic & cultish militia—move ever closer to his isolated hometown.
Now faced with a threat to his once-elysian life, Johan must decide the role he is destined to play in their escalating conflict.
At his side are Aiden, the mysterious son of an exiled warrior, who has trained since childhood in the mystic arts; and Crysta, a runaway noblewoman intent on ending the war before it reaches her family.
Through his coming-of-age journey, Johan confronts the ghosts of his family trauma, his passions and sensuality, and ultimately his own demons.

Completely captured my attention from the moment I picked it up. The music and feeling throughout the entire game really reminded me of some older ninento games I played when I was younger.
The combat took some getting used to at first, but was rather enjoyable. With some nuances I had to appreciate.
Additionally, the story captured my heart. Do hope that people give it a try and share it around.
Simple but elegant battlesystem that is easy to pick up but provides depth throughout the game, a story that takes itself seriously and delivers heartfelt sincerity, and nostalgic pixel graphics that convey the world. The level design itself is a joy to explore, and there's excellent pacing between combat, exploration, puzzles, and story segments that never lets one become exhausting before refreshing the player with another.
If you're in the mood for a classic 90s jRPG and a story with a heavier tone, it's an incredibly easy recommendation at its price point.
This game is a very well crafted JRPG made in RPG Maker 2003. It still blows my mind how much love to attention it has in each area. The mapping is detailed and varied, and the small character animations are nice to look at. The art style is reminicent to the 16bit SNES era, and the effort and love put into this is evident.
The story is interesting (I'm 8 hours in at the time of this review), the combat is fluid and the soundtrack is awesome as well.
What may be a bit bothersome are some bugs that are still being ironed out. The worst so far is a possible soft lock in Combat, it's being worked on according to the Discord, but for now the recommendation is to switch the battle mode to Active instead of Wait.
I've mainly played this game on my Steam Deck so far and it works well. I had one crash after a battle, but thanks to regular autosaving it didn't take long to regain my progress. I do recommend frequent manual saving though.
All in all, if you enjoy classic JRPG's, this game is a must-buy.
Absolutely loved this game. Found it randomly on my youtube recommended when a vtuber, Kieran Young posted his playthrough VoD. I knew as soon as I got home, I HAD to get it myself. And I'm so happy I did. I could see the old school JRPG inspiration in gameplay and story. And I love the characters and their relationships so much.
I played this game on steam and it truly left me wanting more!
The good thing is there is more coming (Expansion). I am definitely going to play it again. 10/10 experience!!!
