Being a DIK - Season 1

So first of all i finished both seasons and it is my first adult visual novel game.I dont mind kinky games and after some recommandations and reviews which said that the writing is pretty good(Yes i care more about that:)) i tought why not.So the positives and negatives + Immersive storyline where you are a college student with a lot of choices The game catched me emotionally in a couple of situations Very good music The game chapters a lot of serious stuff from real life pretty well You really feel like a part of the storyline You can skip most of the nasty stuff for example starring at different body parts like a creep and you can also be a true gentleman instead of the college w* gg It sounds strange but you can really play this game for just the story Funny mini games and beautiful artstyle Negatives -Girls acting is a bit lets say overdone and way to unrealistic sometimes (you can tell a dude made this game gg) but he is capable for good stuff as well so dont get me wrong here -Sometimes i didnt had a choice or couldnt respond in insitutations where it would have make sense which was a bit sad Overall it was a real enjoayable experience for me and i hope he focuses more on the adult stuf(not the porn) because thats where the game shined for me.Overall the game is a solid 4 and a half star for me.Translations would be nice as well and im looking forward how the story continues

A rare representative of adult games with a well-written story. Yes, these is the game for adults but there is no pointless humiliation of men / women / anyone. If you remove all adult scenes from the game, then the game will lose almost nothing. It reminded me of the feeling of good youth comedies of the early 2000s (American Pie etc.). Only here the story is much longer and there is more drama. If you are only interested in sex scenes then this game is not for you. But if you like good emotional stories and well-written characters then you have to play it. P.S. Everyone who gave a low mark gave it not to the game (they didn’t even play it) but to the position of the Gog Shop about this game direction.

Great game. Lots of choices that actually impact the story as you progress. Well thought out storyline and characters that you get interact with throughout the choices. Absolutely worth the purchase. And overjoyed that it has showed up here on gog.

I have tried a couple of those Japanese VNs in the genre, and always quit about about 5 minutes. Then I tried Being a DIK due to the overwhelmingly positive score on Steam, and IMO it really justified that score. It has a really engaging storyline, high replayability (at least 2 main choice lines with a few more choices that can be made by replaying certain parts – so a total of 20+ hours just for Season 1, and probably 40+ for Season 2), the graphics and animations are nice, etc. I have tried other VNs since, but unfortunately none are at this level. There are a few small gripes like frequent save glitches (can't load saves at random), sometimes poor performance due to RenPy (VN engine) issues, etc.

This game is miles and leagues ahead of anything the competition has to offer. More than eight thousands images, plus hundreds of scenes. Lots of hours to sink in. The story will hook you in and the visuals will do the rest. So many choices. Branching paths. Character alignment. You will try to unlock all the extra content and probably replay the whole season a few times, just to see what happens. I'm not spoiling anything. You should experience this for yourselves. For what it is offering, especially compared to any other VN in existence, it is cheap. Get a deal on both Seasons 1+2 if you can.
