BATTLETECH - Shadow Hawk Pack

Got it as “exclusive” bonus for pre-order. Which requires Paradox account to be used in game. It is the only reason I have it. For that price (with added online log-in requirement) I would never even consider buying it.

When installed this caused my game to lock up if my connection with the game's online server was lost, which happened more than once both on their end and on mine. The skin itself was not that interesting to me but I got it as part of a bundle. I had to reinstall the base game without this DLC in order to regain stability. Apparently the DRM has now been removed from the DLC but I cannot verify that as I refuse to install it ever again. Not worth the risk to me to verify for myself if it is truly fixed or not. It may be of interest to those that insist on having every possible component to the game but otherwise it adds very little to the game since you will only occasionally use the mech that the skin is for. The history of causing issues is enough for me to encourge people to avoid it.

Nickle and dime garbage. Would never have paid money for it, and it requires use of a paradox account, which makes no sense.

Afaik this is not only a Skin but also a unique Mech-Geometry that differs slightly from the ingame Shadow Hawk. The Screenshots seem to approve that as they look slightly different to my Shadow Hawks. What you make of that is up to you and so if you spend Money on it depends only on your own judgement.
