OMG, YES

I Love this game. This is the one game I can never get bored with. Everything about it was perfect. The graphics were amazing back in it day and I would say it still see. The environment looks awesome. The game play is found anywhere else (Trust me I looked). I use to have mutli copies until they got lost or stolen. For 9.99$ it is without question sold. I personally spoke to the president of Liquid Entertainment to bring back Battle Realms. Not only did they do this with GOG.com, but they are also coming out with another game to continue the story of Kenji and the Battle Realms world. Im going to play this for Hours and Hours. Thank you so much GoG and Liquid for this game. If the multiplayer still works and honestly I wouldnt care if it did or not (would be nice) my user name is WishMeWell259. Find me and will play :D Once again thank you, you brought back the greatest game in the world to me

The RTS that scratches that itch so hard

Literally the ONLY Real Time Strategy game available as of review that... > Lets you control entire army instead of just a hero to kill steal your team mates > Fight solo to prove your skills instead of always needing 4 more buddies that will carry you > Fight TOGETHER with friends ANYWHERE as long as you have a PC and power outlet > Does not lock you out if you went offline for more than 30days > Greatly utilizes your macro and micro management skills > Is real time, no waiting for your turn > Looks decent and feels good to control even after 15yrs without graphical updates > Possibility to talk trash in your oponent's face while burning his/her peasant huts (LAN parties)

This game didn't age well

I didn't know this game beforehand, but after playing it I'm pretty sure that most of the 5-star reviews are nothing but nostalgia-reviews. While the game might have been something speacial 15 years ago, it isn't today. It's just a solid but mediocre RTS. The worst thing about it is the lack of overview. Look at the screenshots; you can't zoom out any farther than that! That's not just a minor flaw, it basically ruined the game for me. You need to micro-manage the battles but that only works early in the game when there are few units involved. Managing mid-sized battles is frustrating; and the tiny section you can see of larger battles is a joke. You feel like there is a constant constraint because you can't see 90% of what's going on. By today standards this game would get 3 to 3 1/2 stars. I give it only 2 stars because the tiny overview massively hinders your strategic gameplay. Only recommendable for hardcore-RTS-fans.
